Playa Bowls

We were at the beach yesterday and placed an order for pick up. We ordered the Goldie Mango bowl, Pink Flamingo Pitaya bowl, and a Mango Pina Colada Smoothie. I added extra toppings to the pitaya bowl, like strawberries, coconut flakes, and Nutella. It was the best playa bowl that I ever had! So delicious! And so refreshing to have on the beach. My kids loved theirs as well. My daughter loves mango smoothies and she said this was the best one she’s ever had. They know what they’re doing at this location. I think this will be a tradition for us from now on when we visit Belmar beach.

After all my visits to Belmar, I'm sad I didn't come here sooner. These are the best playa bowls I've ever had! The shop decor was awesome, such an awesome vibe, and you can see the ocean from the doorway or the patio out front. I didn't get to try any drinks, but the Nutella bowl and the peanut butter bowl were so so good. I actually passed on tacos to try a playa bowl after I saw my friend get one. Highly recommend!

Love this Playa Bowls!!! Missing it greatly since summer is over!!! The staff is so friendly and happy, they go above and beyond even when packed. I have had them even go so far as to take my order via the phone when someone else went to pick up for me!! Wish there was one closer to me (the one by me isn’t nearly as great!!) that had this atmosphere and charisma!

This place was a great place to go to! Tons of varieties to get with your açaí bowl. You can even change the base mix from Açaí to coconut to pitaya and more. I mixed mine with coconut and açaí. My wife got the gingerbread bowl which is a seasonal bowl. Both hit the spot! You get loads of food with each bowl! The atmosphere is great here. Very cool how it is also combined with a cozy coffee spot. I would definitely recommend coming here.

The food here is always amazing but the people during the summer that work at the Playa Bowls on the 18th or far nicer all three of these rude women or should I say young woman, we’re acting as if I worked there mountains are life I was trying to place a order not only did I order extra honey in-store with the cashier. She never added it she said if I had points with an attitude, the screen will be blue to redeem like I’m supposed to know that or I’ve worked there my whole life or something I get it some people have a bad day so I let that go I even thanked her. Then I asked for my bowl to be to go, and another attitude popped out of the girl, making my food saying don’t you see the bags right there. I just walked out. Finally I came in saying can you please put a spoon or two in there as I might share it with my fiancé and another one had the audacity to repeat with the second girl said saying, don’t you see them I never understood why employees and it usually is younger women no offense I am a man raised by a woman love my future wife and and I feel without women there is no man they are the backbone to our country and any good man currently today, so I never understood why younger women always have an attitude at work while they’re getting paid if you don’t like we your working quit!! Simple as that you can keep the extra honey and all three of your attitudes. Good ol diy
